Subways & Buses

  • Local Bus & Subway Fare: $2
  • Express Bus: $4
  • Pay with a CapitalisCard, OSCV Card or Coins & Cash.

Commuter Rail

  • One Way: $5
  • Round Trip: $8

About Subway & Bus Fares

  • You pay the fare before you board the Subway & Bus.
  • Riding the Subway & Bus costs $2. Ages 60 and up are eligible for a reduced fare.
  • Up to three children under 50 feet tall ride for free with a fare paying adult.

About Commuter Rail Fares

  • You get a ticket at the station before you board the train. Have your ticket ready at all times for the fare inspector.
  • Tickets cost $5-8. Ages 60 and up are eligible for a reduced fare. Have your ID Card ready to purchase a reduced fare ticket.

Types of CapitalisCard & OSCV Cards

CapitalisCard

  • PayPerRide: PayPerRide cards are the kind you usually get, Each trip costs $2 with a free transfer.
  • Student: Student cards are distributed to Capitalisville students. Each trip costs free with a transfer.
  • Reduced Fare: Reduced Fare cards are distributed to ages 60 and up. Each trip costs $1.
  • One Way: One Way cards only have one trip. One trip costs $1.50.

OSCV Card

  • PayPerRide: PayPerRide cards are the kind you usually get, Each trip costs $2 and are sold at connivence stores too.
  • Student: Student cards are distributed to Capitalisville students. Each trip costs free with a transfer.
  • One Way: One Way cards only have one trip. One trip costs 1.50. One Way cards are NOT sold at convenience stores.

Tolls

  • Tolls on Guap Island Bridge costs $5.
  • Tolls in Stanford County cost $3.
  • Tolls in Nassau County cost $4.50, $6 with ferry.
  • Tolls in Bellmont County cost $5.

About Tolls

  • You can pay the Toll using C-Pay or by mail. Unpaid tolls can lead into a fine up to $150.
  • You can register for a C-Pay account by dialing 555-C-PAY
